ElementaryElementary Curriculum
To ensure academic excellence, TKA maintains class sizes for optimal learning, employs state or Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) certified teachers, provides a comprehensive aggressive curriculum (ABeka for 1-3; combination of ABeka, BJUP and others for 3-6), and administers the Stanford Achievement Test to monitor instructional progress. TKA encourages acceleration. We provide additional challenge for advanced students in math with a math acceleration program beginning in 5th grade. Those who are proficient in reading have access to a reading enrichment program that challenges students in reading and comprehending higher level material. School Hours for grades full day 1 - 12: 8:25 am - 3:15 pm. |
