The King's Academy ...

is an independent, parent-owned school. 

 What does Independent mean?

• We are independent...not a ministry of any particular church.  In fact, we represent 58 Christian churches from Berks and Schuylkill counties.
• Our Statement of Faith is evangelical and Christ-centered.

 What does Parent-Owned mean?

• Parents are the owners of the school, similar to shareholders of a public company, or voters in a district.
• At least one parent out of every family becomes an Association Member.  Association Members have the right to vote at semi-annual Association Meetings. 
• In addition, parents are encouraged to serve on committees, giving advice to the Board concerning various operational items (Facilities, Finance, Long-Range Planning).  Other committees give advice and assistance to the Headmaster (Admissions, Education, Marketing).
