Vision Statement

To provide a distinctive college preparatory K-12 Christian education, which is dedicated to developing its students' unique talents and gifts and graduating young men and women who are able to demonstrate Christian character in their daily lives through their relationship to Jesus Christ.

Expected Student Outcomes

Programs, strategies, and methodologies developed and implemented by TKA, within the context of biblical principles, will produce students with a Christian worldview, who demonstrate spiritual, academic, social and physical growth relative to the grade level and time enrolled at TKA.  Accordingly students will:

1.    Spiritual:

  • Understand and commit to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 
  • Be Biblically literate.
  • Possess apologetic skills to defend their faith.
  • Understand the worth of every human being as created in the image of God.
  • Be able to articulate and defend their Christian worldview while having a basic understanding of opposing worldviews.
  • Treat their bodies as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
  • Know, understand, and apply God's Word in their daily lives.
  • Be empowered by the Holy Spirit and pursue a life of faith, goodness, knowledge, self control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.
  • Be prepared to practice the principles of healthy, moral family living.
  • Be actively involved in a church community, serving God and others.

 

2.    Academic:

  • Have good study habits.
  • Have the skills to question, solve problems, and make wise decisions.
  • Be well prepared in all academic disciplines and skilled in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking.
  • Be proficient in mathematics and science.
  • Have a knowledge and understanding of people, events, and movements in history (including church history) and the cultures of other peoples and places.
  • Appreciate literature and the arts and understand how they express and shape their beliefs and values.

3.    Social

  • Be willing participants in the strengthening of the school community.
