A worldview, simply put, is the
lens through which we view the world. As parents, we all pray
and hope that our children will follow our steps in the Christian life.
At TKA, we train from the early years according to each child’s developmental
level to both think Biblically and act Christianly.
Academic Excellence
Rigorous Academic Program
Our students score higher than the national average on standardized
tests
TKA's high academic standards are not
exclusive, but inclusive. Because of our small class sizes, our
teachers have the ability to focus on each student and do everything
possible to ensure success.
90%
of our graduating seniors from '06-'09 have attended or will attend
university next year.
Last year, our students' average SAT score was 1679, compared to our 12 school districts' average
of 1458.
Our graduates have gone on to many varied pursuits in the university
and have achieved great success.
The personal attention and the academic expectation
makes TKA the logical choice if you want your child to excel in academics.
Leadership Training
The Leadership Training Program intentionally creates a leadership culture,
where students gain motivation and training to lead.
This leadership culture is developed with a comprehensive framework
of ideas -- Head (purpose and vision), Heart (character and service) and Hands (skills to lead).
Our students participate in
Leadership Training Events,
Community Service Projects, Student Teams, Peer Mentorship
and Leadership Activities and Trips.
International Emphasis
